Sappy words that may sound cheesy but are true!

Tracy dearest!

Like Katie, I too, am SO blessed to have you as a friend. Meeting you at U of C 101 - coincidental? I think not! I am so thankful that even though we've never had any classes together, we still had those lunch dates that eventually turned into going to a sweet, sweet DG that became an even more glorious DG that has brought us closer together.

You have brought so much to the DG this year. You know how to have a good round of fun, and at the same time you bring so much wisdom and knowledge. The way you relate to God and to other people is absolutely beautiful.

My very first impression of you was that you were one of the most joyful, gorgeous, and fashionable people that I've ever met. It's obvious to everyone that you're striving your hardest to seek, follow, and obey God the best you can - you have a beautiful soul.

I'm excited to see all that God has in store for you and is going to use you for in your 21st year. I'm confident that you're going to take this year and make the very most of it that you can. I love you lady!

Love,
Lyd

Water Spout

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tracy!

Sup Super!? OPPS WAIT A SECOND! I'm supposed to be the super! ... hummm let me think.

...

Yes I think you are JUST BARELY OLD ENOUGH now... today I'm going to pass on my water spouting powers!!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREME PRIVILEGE; I hope you realize how important this is. To use these powers effectively you'll have to follow these very important rules;

1) Practice your spouting powers EVERYDAY whilst hiding them from everyone around you
2) Eat water filled products like WATERmelon, WATERbuffalo, and WATERgates to keep your power topped up
3) Only use your power against people, animals and inanimate objects that don't live or exist in water already.
4) Finally the most important GOLDEN RULE WHICH YOU MUST FOLLOW (for fear of losing the very important power you've just gained); you must sing Incy Wincy Spider every time you're caught out in the rain until your next birthday!

Failure to adhere by any of the above rules will result in a very DRY life :0

Cough cough... anyway, thanks for being such a supportive and awesome sister Tracy! Love you very much. And don't ever forget it!

"Out came the sun and dried up all the rain - and the pretty little tracy climbed up the spout again!"

Like a Sister to Me

Tracy! It's your birthday! Well, we are pretty much best-friends-in-law, or even better, as the title says you are pretty much like a sister to me. It has been such an awesome journey getting to know you, and I am blessed to call you a friend.
We have shared a lot of good times, so here is a short collection of the memories we've made together...hmmm that sounds a little bit like I'm writing a marriage memoir. Anyway here they are...hope you remember them as fondly as I do :)
  • lying and the floor and laughing till we are nearly crying
  • fun photoshoots
  • road trip journeys to exotic places like Edmonton for exciting times at Breakforth!
  • screaming blood curdling screams while thinking our last living moments are going to be spent in a tube on Gull lake
  • taco salad on a bed in a hotel room...with a window that overlooks an indoor pool
  • meeting crazy Ukrainian relatives
  • singing in the car...singing in the park...singing anywhere
  • falling over by the side of the road
  • backyard BBQ's
  • Captivating
  • games that never end...like Mahjong
  • discussions about life and God
  • worshiping God together
  • retrograde amnesia...does it count as a memory if you can't remember it?
  • parties in L-Town
Tracy, I hope you have a lovely and blessed birthday, and more importantly that this is a great year for you.

Love your Best-Friend-In-Law,
Evie

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
Tracy, you are such an amazing person and I am so blessed to have you as my best friend. I have so many fantastic memories with you! I love our uncanny ability to clear out a restaurant with our laughter and to find amusement in everything we get to do together. You are so fun and easy to be around which always makes me feel that I can be myself around you (no matter what kind of mood I'm in).
I remember our troll hunts, our deodorant rocks (we are so strange!), our travels, our talks, Basho the sumo, our baked brownies with the pick axed icing, our many shopping trips, our Oscar parties, our dress-up photoshoots, surfing, work lunches, study dates, walking pigeon-toed so the cops wouldn't catch us, llama farms (with fat llama tmarie), making bunny Hutches, and the list just goes on and on! So many of the best memories I have are with you and I look forward to many many more as we keep getting older.
I love you! Happy Birthday! I hope this year is filled with all of the fabulous things you deserve.
Love,
Kate aka BF50+

An aerial photo of Tracy today.

Situated in a thriving agriculture area with an active retail environment serving the trade area, Tracy boasts plenty of recreational opportunities with lakes, golf courses, hunting, camping, biking and more. Primary and secondary educational offerings with high standards in modern facilities together with an exceptional medical center make the community an ideal place to raise a family or retire.

Seniors are well served with a congregate care facility, affordable modern apartment complex, several nursing homes and a choice selection of housing options.

Tracy's main street in the early 1900s.

Tracy has the ingredients to satisfy families that work here or those who commute to other nearby communities for employment. The amenities and affordability of the community make it desirable for lifetime residency.

This is our most beautiful cat, Tracy. Tracy was rescued by our friend Lauren Novatne, who was teaching in the city of Tracy at the time (although she and the cat were both living in Stockton.) He is a neutered 6 year old, purebred Siamese cat, with blue eyes. He is very affectionate and has adjusted well to ranch life. He is often seen hunting in the fields next door by the vineyard.

Tracy is a thriving industrial, commercial, and residential community based on well-planned growth and progress. The quality of life is demonstrated in Tracy's "small town" yet bustling atmosphere, numerous beautiful parks and open spaces, attractive landscaping and arterial streets throughout the City, a low crime rate, quality schools and affordable housing.

Because of the geographic location, a pro-business environment, and a proactive local government Tracy is expected to continue to grow to approximately 80,000 by the year 2010.

TRACY MARIE: Blues / Rock / Country

A performer, vocalist and songwriter who brings energy, enthusiasm and eclectic tastes to her pursuit of her art and her career in music, Tracy Marie has been writing songs and performing live for nearly a decade. It is difficult to classify her music into one particular genre because for Tracy Marie, that would ensue limitation. Her songwriting style goes beyond the crossbreading of genres and instead, more often brings the songs back to the simple root.

Trace... hmmm, what to type to YOU...wonderful you! in this seemingly small space- Happy Birthday 21 year old!!! You know what, I am going to be selfish and right off the bat tell you my wish for your birthday (hee hee!), I wish that the Lord would continue to USE and SHAPE you into the strong (in the Lord's stength kind of way) woman He is making you to be, so I can continue to be INSPIRED and ENCOURAGED and COMFORTED by such an genuine and simply lovely friend like YOU. I love YOU Tracy Schaan and today I celebrate having you as a friend in my heart, as well as the fact that you were born today (so many years ago)! Thank you for being you...you are perfect just the way you are (period!). Love: Mis

(another beautiful piece by anna).

Wow!! 21yrs ago I (with a little help from some medical folks)delivered an amazing, bubbly, bouncy, wonderful baby girl and what a fun-ride it has been watching you grow, teaching you and learning from you!! We are soooo proud to be your parents and you continue to surprise us with your sensitivity, caring, and jou de vivre. I read recently that Joy is the experience of knowing that you are unconditionally loved and that nothing-sickness, failure, emotional distress, oppression, war, or even death-can ever take that love away. Today our prayer is that you will continue to drink deeply from the wells of salvation and taste the goodness of Your Lord and have a continuing, deepening revelation of His tender love for YOU!!
May you continue to walk in His ways and out of your life in Him continue to be a blessing to those around you!!

AMEN

LOVE ALWAYS.
MOM AND DAD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope that the year to come will be filled with many great memories. I appreciate your joy, smile, and your enthusiasm for life.
Have a wonderful birthday Tracy!
Love Kathryn

Alright, now it's my turn.

Tracy, hi! It's always a joy when I have friends whose families become part of my life as well -- that is one of the many blessings that my friendship with sister Melanie has brought.

I'm stoked that you and I are friends on facebook.com, although I'm not entirely certain why that makes me so happy. Facebook isn't the most intimate of places to grow a friendship, but it's a fun seeding ground, and a place to create inside jokes and look at cool pictures. And who could live without the pokes?

HMm...things I appreciate about you...
1. your style -- this may seem shallow, but it isn't. you have awesome style, and that is one of the things I admire in the people I know. I think it shows confidence, an artistic way of seeing the world, and a love and excitement for life, as expressed through what you wear everyday. rock on.

2. your smile -- really, JOYFUL!!! It's great. And you're beautiful too. Beautiful, joyful, and you show it off by smiling -- sweet.

3. we can be friends -- this is a big one. I appreciate that our relationship exists, and it has grown! I love that you've accepted me, even though we don't really live in the same city -- I am a person who loves to meet new people, and welcome them into my life, regardless of distance or other factors, and I'm glad that I've connected with you as a result of my move to Lethbridge.

Is 3 good for now? I think so. There's going to be potentially a lot of little gems of love for you to absorb on this blog, so I'll leave mine at that.

21 for me was a crazy age -- it's when I went back to school, and started creating goals and dreams and plans for myself. It was the last time in my 20's when I felt really young - at 22, I started to sense that I was a grown-up now, and had to begin to live and act accordingly. YIKES! So enjoy 21 for what it is. Don't look too far forward, or too far back -- this really is an exciting time in life! Allow yourself to be moved to tears and to laughter. Welcome the voice of God speaking about your future, and welcome the Holy Spirit to heal things that have happened in the past. Continue to move through each day with passion, joy, zest, hope, and an inquisitive mind. Don't be afraid to open yourself up to the people who love you, and know that being a woman who feels and thinks deeply is a beautiful thing.

Rock the whole year, not just your birthday -- let the people whose lives you impact and change love on you all the time -- receive the many gifts (in all shapes and sizes) that they desire to lavish upon you.

Most of all, cherish those moments in God's presence where he gets into your heart, and reminds you of who you are -- let those moments form your identity, your confidence, your hope, and your future.

Oh, and come visit me in Vancouver -- we'll have a super fun time.

love,

melinda

p.s. thanks for carrying my chicken. :)
